BoxHead™

The name Box Head is a metaphorical play on words. In American English, adding the word "head" after a word signifies a specialty. I.e. Box Head—a person who is a boxer. The words Box Head is also a literal showcase of the characters square head. The character is based on myself, the name is a play on the words Box & Head (a physical rectangle for the shape of the head as well as the act of boxing/fighting).

The hair is based on his hairstyle. The left eye was designed as a swirl eluding to his disability to clearly see from the left eye due astigmatism. The stitches evoke the numerous cuts sustained throughout my fight career. The BoxHead™ character design won an award in the world famous Logo Lounge 13 book.
